TableForTwo is not open for real bookings yet. Nothing is charged, no restaurant is holding a table, and no member is expecting you. You are looking at how the product works, not at availability you can rely on.

TableForTwo

Trust & safety

Safety is the product, not a policy page

Everything below is built into how a booking works. If any of it is not true of an experience you have on TableForTwo, tell us and we will act.

Verification

Every member is approached, met and approved by a person before anything is published. Her own agreement to appear is recorded first, and the system refuses to publish a profile without it — that is enforced in the database, not by a checkbox. Everyone on TableForTwo is 18 or over, confirmed by our team in person during launch rather than by an automated document check; document verification is being added and this page will say so when it is live. Whatever we hold is stored apart from profiles, is never displayed, and is never shared with another user.

Public venues only

Every date takes place at a partner restaurant during its trading hours. TableForTwo does not arrange, list or facilitate meetings at private residences, hotels or any non-public venue, and will not do so. If someone asks you to move a date elsewhere, report it — that request alone is grounds for suspension.

During the date

Members can register an emergency contact and check in when they arrive. Either person may end the date at any point, for any reason, with no explanation owed and no penalty to the member. Venue staff know a TableForTwo booking is arriving and can be asked for help discreetly.

Community standards

TableForTwo is a dining platform. Solicitation of any kind, sexual propositions, harassment, pressure to drink, unwanted contact after a date, and attempts to move a booking off-platform are all prohibited. Accounts are suspended while a report is reviewed, and confirmed breaches are permanent.

Reporting and blocking

Any member or customer can report or block another person, before or after a booking. Reports reach a trained person, not an automated queue. Blocking is silent and immediate: a blocked account can no longer see your profile or book your availability.

Payments

Payment is taken once, through the platform, when a booking is confirmed. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach TableForTwo systems. No money changes hands at the table, and members are never asked to handle a customer’s payment.

Cancellations and no-shows

Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before a booking. Later cancellations are refunded less the restaurant’s commitment. A member who does not arrive is not compensated and the booking is refunded in full. Repeated no-shows, from either side, end an account.

Privacy controls

New profiles start private. Members choose who can see them and can change it at any time. No profile is ever indexed by a search engine, whichever setting is chosen. Phone numbers, email addresses, home areas, social accounts and identity documents are never shown on a profile, and profile views are logged.

Private
Only you and approved TableForTwo staff can see your profile.
Members only
Only verified customers who are signed in can view your profile.
Public
Signed-out visitors to TableForTwo can view your profile. Search engines are still blocked.

Report something

If you feel unsafe right now, contact the Namibian Police on 10111 first. To report conduct on TableForTwo, email safety@tablefortwo.na with your booking reference. In-app reporting arrives with member accounts.
