TableForTwo is not open for real bookings yet. Nothing is charged, no restaurant is holding a table, and no member is expecting you. You are looking at how the product works, not at availability you can rely on.

TableForTwo

Booking terms

What you agree to when you book

Written in plain language, and describing exactly how the platform behaves.

Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel. This page accurately describes how the platform behaves today, but it has not been settled by a Namibian lawyer and is not a substitute for one. It must be reviewed before TableForTwo takes real bookings.

1. What you are buying

You are buying a curated dining experience: a reserved table at a partner restaurant, a defined menu, and the arrangement of both. Members volunteer their time and are compensated for dates they accept.

You are not buying access to a person, companionship of any other kind, or any obligation on a member’s part beyond attending the booked meal. A member may decline any booking and may end any date at any point, for any reason, without explanation and without affecting their compensation.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older. Members and customers alike complete identity and age verification. Accounts found to belong to a minor are removed immediately and reported where the law requires it.

3. Holds and payment

Choosing an experience holds the member’s time slot for 15 minutes while you check out. If you do not complete checkout in that window the hold lapses, the slot returns to the calendar, and nothing is charged.

Payment is taken once, in full, when you confirm. The restaurant portion and the TableForTwo service fee of N$300 are shown separately at checkout. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach TableForTwo.

Anything you order beyond the listed inclusions is settled directly with the restaurant on the night.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Cancel more than 24 hours before the booking and you are refunded in full, service fee included. Cancel inside 24 hours and you are refunded less the restaurant’s committed cost, which varies by venue and experience.

If the member does not arrive, you are refunded in full and the member is not compensated. If the restaurant cannot honour the booking, you are refunded in full and we will offer to rearrange.

5. Conduct

Solicitation of any kind, sexual propositions, harassment, pressure to drink, unwanted contact after a date, and any attempt to move a booking away from the partner venue or off the platform are prohibited. So is asking a member for their contact details, home address or social accounts.

Accounts are suspended while a report is reviewed. Confirmed breaches are permanent, and no refund is due on a booking cancelled because of one.

6. Venues

Dates take place at partner restaurants during trading hours. TableForTwo does not arrange, list or facilitate meetings at private residences, hotels or any non-public venue.

7. Vouchers

Each confirmed booking issues one voucher, valid for the booked seating only. A voucher is redeemed once, by venue staff, and cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged for cash.

8. Liability

TableForTwo arranges introductions and reservations. We verify identity and age, and we require public venues, but we are not present at your date and do not control what happens there. Food, drink and service are the restaurant’s responsibility.

Nothing here limits rights you have under Namibian consumer law.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. Bookings already confirmed are governed by the terms in force when they were made.

Questions about a specific booking go to support. Conduct concerns go to safety.
